Candidates applying for Havaldar posts must meet specific physical standards:

For Male Candidates:

  • Height: 157.5 cms (relaxable by 5 cms for Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and STs)
  • Chest: 81 cms (unexpanded), with a minimum expansion of 5 cms
  • Walking: 1600 meters in 15 minutes
  • Cycling: 8 Kms in 30 minutes

For Female Candidates:

  • Height: 152 cms (relaxable by 2.5 cms for Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and STs)
  • Weight: 48 kgs (relaxable by 2 kgs for Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and STs)
  • Walking: 1 Km in 20 minutes

  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) – For Havaldar Posts ONLY:
    • Candidates shortlisted based on their CBE (Paper-I) performance for Havaldar posts will undergo PET/PST.
    • This is a qualifying test. Failing to meet the standards will lead to disqualification.
