Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the IB Security Assistant 2025 recruitment, you must meet the following criteria as of the last date of application.
1. Educational Qualification
- Essential: You must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.
- Domicile: You must possess a domicile certificate of the state against which you have applied.
- Local Language: Knowledge of one local language/dialect as listed in the official notification for the Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB) you are applying to is mandatory.
2. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years

Selection Process: A Three-Tier Examination
The IB Security Assistant selection process is a three-stage procedure designed to test a candidate’s knowledge, language proficiency, and personality.
Phase I: Tier-I Exam (Online)
This is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) that serves as the initial screening.

Phase III: Tier-III Exam (Interview/Personality Test)

Salary & Job Profile

- Total Salary: In addition to the basic pay, you will receive a Special Security Allowance (SSA) of 20% of your basic pay, along with other Central Government allowances like DA, HRA, and TA. The in-hand salary is approximately ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 per month.
